Are you a religion?
Not in the traditional institutionalized sense; we are a modern Mystery School and Entheogenic church recognized as a 508c1a non-profit "faith based" organization as defined by the IRS. We are composed of a diverse community exploring the numerous facets of personal spiritual development free from the confines of structured religious dogma. When we are asked if we are a religion, we would closely identify with Animism principles. Animism is the belief that all life forms in all Earthly and Cosmic densities are alive and possess a distinct spiritual essence. Ultimately, we are a religion of Consciousness expansion through experience and direct connection to source Consciousness.

Do I have to be a vegetarian or Vegan?
The short answer is no, however, we do consider all sentient conscious life forms to be our friends and companions. While we believe animals are not on Earth for us to consume and exploit, we also understand this can be asking a lot regarding lifestyle change. We do impress the importance of knowing where your food and consumer products come. We strongly discourage the consumption of factory farmed animals due to it’s cruel, unsanitary, and unhealthy practices which ultimately affect the human body we regard as our personal Temple. When the body is clean, the mind is provided a clean environment to function optimally.

Why, as a spiritual organization, do you focus on diet?

The Body, Mind, Spirit are each affected by what we feed it. We strive for a whole food, unadulterated plant based diet. This includes being conscious of the consumption of GMO’s, artificial pesticides, and overly processed food products. When the Body is clean, this also helps the mind function efficiently, thereby providing an unclouded path to Spirit and the Divine when we apply the work.

 

Can I join if I’m affiliated with another religion or church? 

Yes, unless you’re a Scientologist. Just kidding...we don’t judge.

We welcome all people and support them in asking questions to find their own spiritual path regardless of religious affiliation. Unlike traditional organized religions, we do not preach, we encourage the seeker to explore.

 

Do I have to pay money to join?

No. 

Do I have to devote a lot of time if I’m a member?
We encourage participation at your own pace.

You mention “Service to Others”, does this mean I have to volunteer for you?
We believe in Cause and Effect and paying it forward. Service to others means being charitable to those in need in any way we can. This can be as simple as helping an older person unload groceries from their car, to making a small contribution to someone’s GoFundMe page for medical bills in lieu of your daily coffee, or checking in with someone who may be having a difficult day. Service to others does not always have to look like a grand undertaking of time or money. Many times the smallest, considerate acts can have a huge impact on someone. With that said, we do have plans as a community to use the power of our numbers to contribute to those in need in a meaningful way.

To be a part of a community of spiritual seekers like yourself. We are a resource and an outlet to explore your personal spiritual growth for self realization and enlightenment.

 

What do you worship?

We don't necessarily “worship” anything, however, the Sun provides life-giving energy to everything on Earth so we express sincere adoration for it. For a deeper explanation, click here.

I live in a different state, do I have to be physically present?
No. In the current age of technology and pandemic lifestyle adjustments, like many Churches across the world, we host virtual “sermons” and events throughout the year and have a wonderful online community. Our members exist in many states (pun intended), and live all across the globe.
